Former Vice Mayor Atty. Rommel Agan together with Senator Bong Go who was represented by Former DSWD Asec Jade Jamolod led the distribution of financial assistance to the one thousand (1,000) beneficiaries of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), yesterday.
Furthermore, Senator Go through Jamolod, distributed some snacks, vitamins and face mask during the said event; that was held at KCC Mall de Zamboanga. Android tablets, mountain bikes and shoes were also given away to the raffle winners.
AICS is one of the programs of DSWD, which provides financial assistance to the low-income individuals/families. Tricycle drivers, jeepney operators,senior citizens and porters were among the chosen recipients of AICS. (April Boy Regino, photo courtesy by Atty. Romel Agan Facebook page)
