The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-9 on Saturday, November 16 rolled out another batch of the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP), benefitting 3,072 beneficiaries coming from different barangays in the city.
The distribution, held at the Mayor Vitaliano Agan colisesum in Tetuan, was done in collaboration with the city government through the City Social Welfare and Development Office and the Office of District II Congressional District.
Mayor John Dalipe, Majority Leader and District II Cong. Mannix Dalipe together with Vice Mayor Josephine Pareja and some members of the City Council graced the payout.
AKAP is intended to provide a menu of assistance for goods and services that are affected by high inflation depending on the needs of the individuals. (Jen Lucero)
