Baguio: 45,000 pieces fully grown marijuana, 9M worth burned in Mountain Province

    Baguio City – Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera (PDEA-CAR); Sadangga Municipal Police Station, Sadangga, Mt. Province; Provincial Intelligence Unit/Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PIU/PDEU) of the Mt. Province Police Provincial Office and the Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) burned and successfully eradicated 45,000 pieces fully grown marijuana plants valued at nine million pesos (P9,000,000.00) in Barangay Saclit, Sadanga, Mt. Province during a joint eradication operation conducted on November 16, 2024.

    The 45,000 pieces fully grown marijuana plants were found on a 1,800 square meter lot where all marijuana plants were burned on the site.

    There were no cultivators apprehended. (Baby Tong)
