In accordance to IATF authority, resolution 101, the province of Zamboanga del Sur officially publicized the executive No. 05, an order for the lifting of stringent measures for the province, effective March 3 until March 31, 2021 signed by Governor Victor Yu.
To abide the law, the EO specify the corresponding guidelines in compliance with travel restrictions, whereas, Travel authority, medical certificates, certificate of Acceptance and RT-PCR testing are no longer required, however, City and municipalities are given the discretion to subject their travelers and guests to RT-PCR test or Antigen test upon Arrival. There will be no quarantine unless the person is symptomatic. Border control remains for health assessment purposes only.
however, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) implement a travel management system called S-Pass (the Safe, Swift and Smart Pass) as a one stop shop application/communication for travelers.
Public health standards for business establishments such as dine-in, hotel, beach resorts and mass gathering has lift up to 75% while beerhouses, KTV, nightclubs and similar businesses remain at 50% maximum capacity. City curfews still on cue at 12 midnight and 11PM for municipalities curfew.
