Mayor John Dalipe issued on Tuesday, April 11, Executive Order No. JD 2023-033 reconstituting Task Force Buenas (TF Buenas), naming its composition, and defining its roles and responsibilities in regularly inspecting of all nightspots, hotels, motels, lodging houses, saunas, and other similar establishments for compliance with city regulations, particularly on sanitation, health and safety.
Chaired by City Administrator Mario Yanga, Task Force Buenas shall be composed of City Health Officer Dr. Dulce Miravite, City Treasurer Romelita Candido, City Engineer Christopher Navarro, Permits and Licenses Division Chief Benjie Barredo and City Police Director P/Col. Alexander Lorenzo, with the Permits and Licenses Division acting as secretariat.
TF Buenas shall appoint their duly authorized representatives to conduct ocular inspections of relevant establishments included in the list provided by the Permits and Licenses Division. Such inspections shall be documented through still photos and/or video footages and written reports shall be submitted to the Office of the City Administrator within five days from date of inspection.
Establishments with violations noted shall be referred to the License and Business Adjudication Committee for appropriate action.
The Office of the City Administrator, as the lead office, shall submit to the Office of the City Mayor a monthly report detailing the number of establishments inspected, findings or violations noted as well as the action taken, if any. (Claudine Uniania)
