Dr. Dulce Amor D. Miravite, City Health Officer, said “We have three isolation facilities closed as these facilities no longer have any admission for Covid-19”

The three isolation facilities closed were Ateneo De Zamboanga University Lantaka Isolation Facility, Euntes, and the Mega Isolation Facility located at Zamboanga Ecozone.

On the staff of these facilities, they were transferred to other active isolation facilities or helping in the vaccination efforts of the city.

Those closed isolation facilities according to Miravite were put on standby just incase the cases of Covid 19 will again surge.

The city has a total of 11 isolation facilities where Covid 19 positive cases are being managed.

As of March 14, 2022 the city has 59 active cases, 27,561 recovered, and 1,206 deaths.

The office is still advocating for the adherence to the Minimum Public Health Standards and vaccination to help curve the pandemic in the city. (R.G. Antonet A. Go)
