Zamboanga: Authorities confiscated 2 million worth of suspected shabu

Joint elements of Police Station 11, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Office, 904th Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, and other operating units of the PNP and the PNP-Intelligence Group, conducted buy- bust operation at Barangay Sta. Catalina which led to the confiscation of more or less 2 million worth of suspected shabu and the arrest of two drug personalities earlier today, June 12 in Barangay Sta. Catalina.

Acting City Director, PCOL ALEX LORENZO identified the subjects as JIMHAR USMAN y JALANI a.k.a “JEMSROCKZ”, 40 years old, a resident of Barangay Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City. Usman is tagged as high -value individual. He was previously arrested in 2017 and was released in 2020 through Plea Bargaining. The other suspect was identified as ADRIANO PEDRO y GANELA a.k.a “JUN-JUN”, 40 years old, a resident of Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City.

Operatives were able to confiscate more or less 300 grams of suspected shabu with Standard Drug Price of Php 2,040, 000.00, one piece of Php 1000.00 bill as marked money, one hundred ninety nine (199) pieces of one thousand peso bill as boodle money, one unit Samsung keypad phone and one unit Suzuki Raider color black with plate no. 227 JQB.

Arrested suspects are now under the custody of Police Station 11 for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges in court. (Cecil Abuy)
