Vehicular Incident At Gen. Luna Corner Lacaya Street, Central Barangay, Dipolog City

Be informed that at about 11:10 PM of December 05, 2020. Duty TOC/Operation of Dipolog City Police Station (CPS) informed the Duty Traffic Investigator that there was a Vehicular Incident transpired along the street of Gen. Luna Corner Lacaya Street, Central Barangay, Dipolog City involving a motorcycle and a four-wheeled vehicle.

Immediately, PNP Personnel of said station led by PSSg. Elizar S. Mabanta-Duty Traffic Investigator proceeded to the area and conducted initial investigation and disclosed that V1- white and black combination motor star motorcycle without plate number and driven by Giovani Estorgio Credo, male, 35 years old, single and a resident of Brgy. Barra, Dipolog City no driver’s license presented together with two back riders namely: Naomie Etol Magallanes, female, 35 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Barra, Dipolog City and Susan Sabuero Etol, female, 40 years old, single and a resident of Brgy. Barra, Dipolog City while travelling towards south direction and upon reaching the intersection of the said street was accidentally hit by V2 a Government Vehicle titanium gray Ford Ranger bearing a Temporary Plate Number 090110 and was driven by Renante Lauc Laquio, male, 44 years old, married and a resident of Brgy. Punta, Dipolog City a holder of professional driver’s license number jo1-95-019696 to be expired on 2022/03/24 while performing his duty as CDRRMO driver and travelling towards east direction heading to Dipolog City Hall with onboard passenger Ma, Theresa Irene Nalzaro, female, 27 years old, single and a resident of Brgy. Sicayab, Dipolog City.

The driver and the back riders of V1 sustained injuries and was brought by the RESCUE 911 ambulance of Dipolog City to Corazon C. Aquino Hospital but one of the back rider Naomie Etol Magallanes was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician Dr. Johaina Diambrang.

Both involved vehicles were temporarily impounded to Dipolog CPS for proper disposition.(PLtCol. Charisse B. Yabo, Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit Chief)
