Police Regional Office 12 – Lake Sebu MPS captured two (2) amazon guerilla members and two (2) died at Lake Sebu operations on April 29, 2020.
At about 5:01 AM of the said date, joint elements of Lake Sebu MPS, 3SEC, 42nd and 43rd SAC of 4th SAB PNP SAF, 2SEC RMFB12, 27IB, PA, RID PRO12, PIB SCPPO, conducted Internal Security Operations and Law Enforcement operation and raid at Sitio Lambila, Barangay Lamfugon, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato which resulted to the capture of two (2) amazons who were identified as Mylene Dalaguman Pasandalan alias Sasay, 32 years old platoon medic and wife of Nato Mindal alias Commander Patrick and Marina Limboy Andal wife of Naldo alias Pungol.
Recovered from the captured were one (1) caliber .45 pistol with (5) rounds of ammunition and one (1) magazine, one (1) Myphone cellular phone; one (1) Samsung Battery; One (1) old camouflage green lower garments; more or less four (4) kilos rice in a backpack; one (1) Boga (Jollen Gun with denatured alcohol); two (2) mini solar panel; two (2) bolos and assorted belongings.
Subsequently, a group of rebel members led by alias Patrick Co, Platoon Primera, GF MUSA FSMR who were lurking and waiting from a distance and opened fired which resulted to a more or less five (5) minutes armed encounter with the government troops. The encounter resulted to the death of two (2) unidentified rebel members with no casualty on the government side. Recovered from the two (2) dead bodies are two (2) M-16 rifle and two (2) bondoliers with magazines.
Hot pursuit operation is being conducted by two (2) sections of PNP SAF led by PCAPT PASCUA against the group of Commander Patrick while SOCO team from South Cotabato Crime Laboratory office was requested to process the crime scene. Investigation revealed that the said place is the main encampment of Commander Patrick Co, Platoon Primera, of GF MUSA FSMR.
Further, the two amazons together with their three (3) children aged 6, 3, and 2 years old were brought to Lake Sebu MPS by the SAF Troopers for proper disposition.
