Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur – Ronie Paraqueles y Antonie a.k.a. “Tawi”, male, 34 years old, married, farmer, formerly residing at Purok 7, Brgy. Kaitpunan, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur was arrested by PNP personnel of Guipos Municipal Police Station together with 2nd Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company and Palimbang Municipal Police Station in a joint law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 4, Sitio Kilbog, Barangay Baluan, Palimbang, Sultan Kudurat at about 7:00 p.m. of May 24 2021.
He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder and Frustrated Murder issued by Hon. Aniceto G. Galon, Jr, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City, docketed under Criminal Case No. 8375-2k6 and 8376-2K6, with no bail recommended dated April 24, 2007. He was immediately brought to Compac 3, Brgy Baluan, Palimbang Sultan Kudarat and was transferred to Guipos Municipal Police Station prior turn-over to court concerned.
Subject person was involved in a hacking and shooting incident sometime in 2005 at Barangay Katipunan, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur wherein victims were identified as Edwin Podjutan and his wife Neneng. Edwin Podjutan survived after being shot and was able to positively identify their assailants, who were Marquin Antone Gomez who was arrested in 2018; Rogelio Paraqueles (deceased) and Ronie Paraqueles who hiding since the incident in 2005.
