The match is set at 7 p.m. after the Pampanga G Lanterns battle Koponang Lakan ng Bulacan in the curtain-raiser at 5 p.m. in the two-day road matches presented by Dumper party-list, Winzir, and Skin Care Depot, co-presented by SCD Cosmetics, and supported by NET 25, Adcon, Wcube Solutions Inc., MDC, Unisol, Don Benitos, and Finn Cotton, with former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and Gilas Pilipinas great Marc Pingris serving as commissioner.
The Kings of coach Randy Alcantara are on top with an unbeaten 9-0 card, counting a 93-89 decision over Manila last Saturday.
Orlan Wamar, Fran Yu and Nikko Panganiban are expected to lead the way for San Juan.
Saved for a stunning 85-89 upset loss to Cagayan de Oro-PSP last January 19, the Tigers are equally impressive so far in the 16-team field with a 9-1 card.
Former PBA players John Wilson and Larry Rodriguez, Keith Agovida and Emman Calo are also expected to provide the numbers for Davao Occidental.
Bulacan will tangle with Pampanga Royce Hotel Friday before the Tigers take on the G Lanterns to cap the league’s first out-of-town duels.
Bulacan is sporting a 7-3 card at fifth place, while Pampanga Royce and the G Lanterns are 8-1 and 6-3, respectively.
