“Tawag Medikal” is the expanded telemedicine program of the Province of Surigao del Norte based on the recommendation of former Gov. Sol F. Matugas, and is now being implemented under the leadership of Gov. Lalo Matugas. This is to specifically address the health needs of the residents of this Province so as to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
Salient features of Tawag Medikal Program include as follows:
- Outpatient virtual consultation;
- Outpatient face-to-face consultation;
- Referral of emergency cases; and
- Return of patients of elective cases from referral.
These “Tawag Medikal Hotline Numbers” may also be called to report violation of any health protocol, wherein our call center agents shall facilitate the immediate reporting to concerned law enforcement offices.
Tawag Medikal Hotlines assigned to Agents 1, 2 and 3 are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On the other hand, Tawag Medikal Hotlines assigned to Agents 4, 5 and 6 are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.
