Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City—— Police Regional Office (PRO) 13’s campaign against members of Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) led to the servicing of nine warrant of arrest to an inmate in Butuan City and arrest of an NPA on the Barrio in Alegria, Surigao del Norte yesterday, July 6.
PRO13 Director POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR stated that on 4:15 PM Butuan City Police Station (CPS) 4 personnel served the Warrants of Arrest against Eliamar Elicito Monter alias Gab, 28 years old, male, single, jobless and a resident of P-6 Brgy. Baligyan, Jabonga, Agusan Del Norte, in BCPS 1 custodial facility.
Alias Gab, who was previously arrested last May 26, is the Top Three Most Wanted Person CTG Priority and has a standing warrant for three counts of Multiple Attempted Murder, three counts of Attempted Murder, Frustrated Murder, Attempted Homicide and Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention filed in different trial courts in the region.
Meanwhile, Jeboy Susbasos Aninion, 32 years old and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Budlingin, Alegria, Surigao del Norte was arrested at 9:40 AM in his residence by personnel Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 13 together with PIU Surigao del Norte, Alegria MPS and 1 Special Action Battalion (SAB), PNP SAF.
Aninion is an NPA in the Barrio under SYP16C1, GFC16, SRC NORTHLAND, NEMRC operating in Barangay Budlingin, Alegria, Surigao del Norte and one of the suspects in a harassment incident last September 3, 2013 at Barangay Camp Edward, Alegria, Surigao del Norte that victimize two CAA members of the Philippine Army.
