Surigao: “Pamaskong Handog” to an IP community in Barangay Cantugas

PD Laude commends PRO13 Regional Chaplain Service Personnel, Officers Ladies Club holding “Pamaskong Handog” to an IP community in Barangay Cantugas, benefiting 145 Lumads

In keeping with the holiday season, personnel from the Chaplain Service, PRO13, and the Officers Ladies Club, CARAGA, conducted “PAMASKONG HANDOG” through a gift-giving activity to the Indigenous People in Brgy. Cantugas, Mainit Surigao del Norte.

Provincial Director Police Colonel Laudemer M Laude participated in the “Pamaskong Handog Para sa mga Katutubo” today.

One hundred forty-five members of the Mamanwa tribe received food packs, rice, raincoats, umbrellas, Bible, loot bags, and snacks.

The province’s top cop conveyed his most profound appreciation to the personnel of PRO13 Chaplain Service and the Officers Ladies Club for organizing and choosing the Mamanwa tribe of Barangay Cantugas as one of the beneficiaries of their community outreach program.

The Mamanwa Community in Cantugas is just one of the IP Communities in the province of Surigao de Norte.

“Truly, this season unites everyone’s hearts. Seeing such smiles on the faces of our IP sisters and brothers inspires us to continue our service to the people. The PNP Surigao will always appreciate the assistance our indigenous people provide. Indeed, a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year,” PD Laude expressed.
