Atty. Henry Cudillo Filoteo takes his oath of office before City Mayor Pablo Yves “Paul” L. Dumlao II this morning as the new Board of Director of SMWD representing the Academe Sector.
Atty. Filoteo, one of the law professors of San Sebastian College Surigao Extension replaced Atty. Jerry Centro. He is the 2nd appointee of City Mayor Paul Dumlao after Sheila Lauren Palma-Mijares was appointed also by the mayor following the resignation of Genevieve Lopez of the women sector.
Filoteo’s term will end on December 2024. Balgamelo Butchoy Ma resigned last May 2022 as Board of Director and the previous City Mayor Ernesto Matugas Jr. appointed Atty. Centro.
Engr. Benjamin Ensomo Jr., SMWD General Manager told RPN DXKS that Atty. Centro did not contest the Local Water Utilities Administration non-concurrence of his appointment.
