One former Communist Terrorist Group member surrendered to PNP personnel of Agusan del Sur headed by PCOL JOVITO C CANLAPAN, Provincial Director at ADSPPO HQs Camp Democrito O Plaza, Brgy. Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
Aforesaid CNT personality voluntarily surrendered and handed-over one (1) unit Cal. 357 mm homemade with defaced Serial Number thru the concerted effort made by the personnel of ADS PIU (Lead Unit) under PLTCOL TIMOTHY S ARCISO JR and San Luis MPS under PCPT DANILO T CAMINGUE.
PCOL JOVITO C CANLAPAN commends the effective efforts of all ADSPPO joint forces in intensifying the mission to end local communist armed conflict in the province.
“ADSPPO continue to appeal to all active CPP-NPA Terrorists and NPA in the province to return to the folds of the law and become beneficiaries of the Enhance Comprehensive Local Integration Program or (E-CLIP), and we are calling for the support of the public in the PNP’s more serious and aggressive efforts against criminality and terrorism in the province”, AgSur top cop stressed out.
Surrendered former CTG is now currently in the PPO while awaiting process for the availment of the E-CLIP. Further, surrendered item are in the custody of ADSPPO Supply for safekeeping.
This is in line with the Process Excellence (Kaayusan at Kapayapaan of M+K+K=K) perspective of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 under the Objective, Improving the Crime Solution Efficiency of the PPO.
