Coast Guard Station Agusan del Norte, headed by CG CDR John Alfwell Saarenas, received information of a maritime incident involving a female who allegedly jumped at the Agusan River, Agusan del Norte.
Thru the direction of the District Commander – CG Commodore Eduardo P. de Luna Jr., the team immediately proceeded to the reported area together with the Baywatch Patrol Unit of CGSOG-NEM and CDRRMO onboard a fiber-boat to conduct search and rescue operation.
The victim was rescued on or about 0920H who was then transferred to CDRRMO Ambulance to receive proper first aid assistance.
