One of the banner programs of the DTI, Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSB-NSB), was launched at the only island barangay in Claver, Barangay Lapanigan last Wednesday, March 16.
A total of 101 participants joined the event benefitted by DTI Surigao del Norte (DTI-SDN) thru Negosyo Center Claverโs capacity building initiative on Entrepreneurship Briefer, Presentation of DTI programs and services, Negosyo Center, One Town One Product-Next Gen (OTOP-NG) interventions and activities, Enhance Rehabilitation Financing and the LSP-NSB rationale. Other side activities were also offered such as Business Name and Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) registration facilitation, and Business Cliniquing.
Enterprise profiling therein follows to get the picture of the business sector in Brgy. Lapinigan with vital support of Brgy. Captain Leodegardo Millari, the Barangay Development Council (BDC), Local Government Unit of Claver thru the Local Economic Enterprises Development and Management Office (LEEDMO) and the residenst of Lapinigan. The enterprise profiles will serve as the source documents of which entrepreneurs will be assessed for possible business kit assistance.
DTI-SDN thru Negosyo Center (NC) Claver brings government services directly to the barangay and is looking forward to future partnership with them as the agency strive to shape, develop and empower micro entrepreneurs (MEs).
