Public Employment Service Offices in Caraga region achieved national recognition in the 2021 Secretary’s Bayanihan Service Awards.
The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Province of Surigao del Norte was adjudged the national winner under the 2nd Class Province Category. Recognized as national finalists were PESO Province of Agusan del Sur (1st Class Province Category), PESO province of Dinagat Islands (3rd to 5th Class Province Category), and PESO Barobo, Surigao del Sur (3rd to 4th Class Municipality Category).
Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma conferred the 2021 Bayanihan Service Awards to public employment service offices with exemplary performance in the delivery of innovative, resilient, prompt and effective humanitarian services to the community in response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The awarding ceremony was held last night on the occasion of the 22nd National PESO Congress at SMX Convention Center in Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga.
