Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – As the 2022 Local Election Campaign Period kicks-off yesterday (March 25), once again Caraga Region gain its first day orderly and peaceful, declared by PRO13 Regional Director POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M. CARAMAT JR.
RD CARAMAT JR stated that even before the start of the 2022 local campaigning period, PRO13 have been ready for necessary measures to ensure an orderly, safe and secure start of the campaign period for the local candidates and its party.
With the compliance with COMELEC Resolution Number 10732, Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) were followed during the motorcades followed by their respective proclamation rallies.
Furthermore, the Caraga region is now in category level 1, which allows gatherings and does not impose strict restrictions but only required permits in their Local Government Units.
“I continue to urge the candidates to strictly follow the set of rules during the campaign season given by the COMELEC so that we can maintain peaceful environment in the Caraga region until the day of election this coming May 9, 2022,” says RD CARAMAT JR.
