On October 11, 2021 around 1:30PM, Surigao del Norte PPO led by PLTCOL. RUDY L. ELANDAG, Deputy PD for Operations in partnership with Sison LGU led by HON KARISSA R. FETALVERO-PARONIA, Municipal Mayor conducted BARANGAYanihan Help and Food Bank at the Covered Court of Brgy. Ima, Sison, Surigao del Norte.
Said activity was duly participated by Hon. Bonifacio E. Deloy, Punong Barangay, SDNPPO-PIU, Sison MPS, 1st and 2nd SDNPMFC, and SDN-EOD.
PLTCOL ELANDAG expressly conveyed to the populace and participants the program of the government to end the local insurgency. He urged the public to let their relatives/neighbors/friends who are victims and deceived by CPP-NPA’s false promises, go down and avail of the government programs on returning FRs such as cash incentives, livelihood program and trainings through the E-CLIP.
The activity was also highlighted by the food packs distribution wherein the residents received the following:
a. Rice and canned goods
b. Face Masks
c. Face Shields
Leaflets on Anti-Terrorism, Bida Bakunation and WAKASAN Comics were also distributed during the activity.
