3rd Maneuver Platoon, 1st SDN PMFC led by PLT JOSE B CONALES JR., Platoon Leader initiated a dialogue with the operator of the drilling machine (used for Rip Rap construction) stationed at the side of the National Highway of Brgy. Union, Dapa, Surigao Del Norte.
During the conversation, PLT CONALES shared a story about the recent burning incident that transpired in Brgy. San Pedro, Alegria of the same province. The said burning incident damaged two units of heavy equipment and was believed to be committed by the members of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG). He then encouraged the operator to be extra vigilant and to immediately report to the authorities if he is threatened by any lawless individuals with the same motive to avoid the same incident to occur.
This initiative of the 3rd Maneuver Platoon aims to secure all construction companies operating within the AOR from the threats and possible offensive of the CTG.
