Seventy-nine individuals got emotional feelings when they received flowers of genuine love from their families during their graduation as 1st Batch of Community Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) held at the Municipal Gymnasium of Taganaan on April 27, 2022 at around 9:00AM.
The said event has been attended by PNP led by Deputy Provincial Director for operation of Surigao del Norte PLTCOL RUDY L ELANDAG, and the Chief of Police of Taganaan PCPT SOCRATES B IBARRA. Also in attendance were Taganaan Mayor Hon. Ceasar B Diaz Jr. and personnel from PDEA,DOH, DILG, SSCT,RHU-Taganaan, Brgy. Officials and families of the graduates.
The CBDRP is the thrust of the LGU in partnership with PNP, PDEA, DILG, DOH, SSCT, and other stakeholders to give way for the total reformation of the persons who use drugs before, and now become partners for peace and development with support of the stakeholder for their livelihood training and employment.
PLTCOL ELANDAG in his message emphasized that the PNP is so thankful for the cooperation of the graduates in acknowledging the rehabilitation program of the government. They were also reminded that the PNP is their partner, but will not also hesitate to negate them when to engage back to illegal activities.
