Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Manga, Barangay Mabuhay, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:30 PM of August 13, 2020. The victim was Lloyd Simbajon Linog, 65 years old, male, married, and resident of aforementioned place. He was stabbed by his owned son identified as Kenneth Pelarca Linog, 40 years old, male, single, construction worker of same place.
Investigation disclosed that the victim together with her wife identified as Angelita Pelarca Linog were sitting at their terrace when Angelita went inside their comfort room for personal necessity, she saw his son Kenneth who was in the kitchen. When she went out from the comfort room, she saw her son Kenneth holding a knife and stabbed his father.
The victim sustained one stabbed wound on the left portion of his face and was rush to Salug Valley Hospital, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur for medical treatment.
The suspect was arrested by the responding Barangay Kagawad Nelson Ganaton and was turned over to Molave MPS for proper disposition. (PCPT. Edwin A. Duco Chief, Public Information Officer)
