Stabbing incident transpired at Zone 1, Brgy. Cawit, Zamboanga City at 8:30 PM of January 2, 2021, wherein victim identified as Roselo Banarao Roxas, 23 years old, single, a fishing crew of triple a fishing and a resident of urban Zone 5, Brgy. Tulungatung, Zamboanga City was stabbed by unidentified suspect.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, victim was buying “balot” along the highway of Brgy. Cawit, Zamboanga City when the unidentified suspect appeared from his back and stabbed the victim twice hitting the back portion of his body.
He was immediately brought to Labuan Hospital for medical treatment.
Suspect fled towards city proper direction after the incident.
PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 8 conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.
