Stabbing incident transpired at Zone 1, Brgy. Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur at 3:50 PM, October 1, 2020 wherein victim identified as Abel Tali Arcadio, 36 years old, male, married, painter, a resident of abovementioned place was stabbed by suspect identified as Ringo Mendoza Bayamban, 46 years old, male, married, self-employed, also a resident of said place.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, suspect and victim were engaged in a heated argument regarding the fight of their child, thereby resulted to their fistfight and suddenly the suspect stabbed the victim four times hitting his chest using a knife.
The victim was brought to Aisah Hospital for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician, while the suspect voluntarily surrendered to Hon. Ali Gampong, Barangay Chairman of Tiguma, Pagadian City.
Arrested suspect is now under the temporary custody of Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition of the case.(PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
