Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Mapailobon I, Brgy. Kabatan, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur at 3:00 PM of November 30, 2020. The victim was identified as Benido Bihag Relivo, 56 years old, male, married, person with disabilities (PWD), who was stabbed by the suspect identified as Marcos Lasagas Lood, 54 years old, married, fisherman both resident of Purok Mapailobon I, Brgy. Kabatan, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Investigation conducted disclosed that the suspect arrived at Daday Sumatra store, drunk and having drinking session thereat that after approached the victim who was watching billiard game and got heated argument and commotion that resulted to the suspect pulled his bolo from his waist and stabbed the victim hitting on his stomach that immediately brought at Margosatubig Regional Hospital (MRH) by his family for medical treatment but pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Suspect voluntarily surrendered at Vincenzo Sagun Municipal Police Station with the recovered bolo and motive of the incident is personal grudge.
