Stabbing incident transpired at the construction site located at Purok 4B, Brgy. Limpapa, Zamboanga City at about 6:50 PM of November 22, 2020. The victim was identified as Sebelino Molas Y. Macion Jr., 45 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 4B, Brgy. Limpapa, Zamboanga City and the suspect as Danilo Belonio Y. Patonggo, 62 years old, male, widowed and a resident of Purok 1, Lawingan, Brgy. Labuan, Zamboanga City.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident; said suspect arrived at the vicinity of the construction site armed with a knife and under the influence of liquor while looking for the companion of the victim. The said victim tried to pacify the unruly suspect who was able to stab the victim on the lower right portion of his stomach.
Further, said victim was immediately brought to Labuan General Hospital for medical treatment while suspect is presently under Zamboanga City Police Station 10 custody for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
