Smuggled Cigarettes Confiscated During Police Operations At Pagadian City

Pagadian City – Officer In-Charge of Pagadian City Police Station Police Lieutenant Colonel JOENERY V OJAS, reported to Police Colonel ROEL L. LAMI-ING, Provincial Director, ZSPPO regarding the confiscated Smuggled Cigarettes at  Agora Public Market , Gate 7, Sta. Lucia, Pagadian City dated August 20, 2021.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Joenery V. Ojas said that on August 20, 2021 at about 2:30 pm a join operation from Detective of Pagadian  City Police Station led Police Lieutenant  Alberto Leonardo and Provincial Intelligence Unit led by PLT. Neronie C Soon under the direct supervision of Police Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Tan Buenaobra, Chief PIU conducted joint operation against smuggled cigarettes at aforesaid place and upon arrival thereat, the vendors notice the presence of the operating team which led them to evade their store and successfully confiscated the smuggled Cigarettes  with a  total of 806 packs with an estimated market value of  ₱ 40,300.00 more or less. Confiscated items are now in custody of this office for proper disposition.

PLTCOL. JOENERY V OJAS commended the operative personnel for a job well done and encouraged all men and women of this station to continue the conducted of monitoring against Smuggled Cigarettes in our AOR.

Pagadian CPS are requesting the public to support the PNP in the attainment of our mission thru giving information for the possible arrest of violators.
