Shooting incident transpired at Purok Sampaguita, Sitio Supang, Brgy. Proper Dimaya, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur at about 9:05 PM of December 8, 2020, wherein victim identified as Ricardo Orcollo Gelicame, 67 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok Sampaguita, Sitio Supang, Brgy. Proper Dimaya, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur was shot by unidentified suspect using undetermined caliber type of firearm.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim went to the comfort room adjacent to his house, when unidentified suspect suddenly appeared from behind and shot the victim hitting the back portion of his neck.
He was brought to Chavez Medical Clinic and subsequently transferred to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City for further medical treatment.
The suspect fled towards Brgy. Sompotan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur, while PNP personnel of Dinas Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation for the identification and arrest of the fleeing suspect. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
