The Rotary Club of Surigao City announced this year’s Rotary Youth Leadership Awardees among the student leaders with outstanding and exemplary achievements in the field of leadership in school and in community.
RYLA Project Chairman and Past President Arturo Cruje, PHF said this annual project has been on-going for the last two decades and is supported by generous individuals and institutions who believe in the potentials of the youth in nation building. The RYLA is in the form of a Rotary International Seal Medal and is given to student leaders after careful screening by the Awards Committee.
However, the awarding ceremonies scheduled on March 28, 2020 is definitely cancelled due to Presidential Proclamation 922 declaring our country under the State of Public Emergency. The club decided to personally give the medal and certificate in a date to be announced. Club President Louise Y. Chua expressed his deep gratitude to the schools who supported the project.
