Road crash incident transpired at Gov. Ramos, Brgy. Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City at 4:35 PM of December 5, 2020, involving Yamaha Mio with temp. plate no. 090102 driven by Joves Delos Reyes Enriquez, 29, male, married and a resident of Brgy. Cabatangan, Zamboanga City with back rider named Christian James Cambel Toribio, 25, male, single and Kenneth Morales Jacinto, legal age, male, single and Fuso Truck with plate no. AWA 3142 driven by Ariel Lueron Barique, 43 y/o, male, married and a native of Lanao Del Norte.
Investigation conducted revealed that both vehicles were travelling along Gov Ramos, Brgy. Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City near Zamboanga White when said Yamaha Mio overtook at the ride side of the Fuso Truck and suddenly it went off balance and fell on the ground.
Moreover, the driver of the Yamaha Mio was seen crushed on the right slide tires of the Fuso Truck and was pronounced dead on the spot by the attending emergency response team while his back rider sustained injuries.
The said driver of Yamaha Mio was brought to La Merced Funeral Homes, Brgy. Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City while the driver of the Fuso Truck is presently at Zamboanga City Police Station 7 custody for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
