Road crash accident transpired along National Highway of Purok Pines, Brgy. Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 12:45 PM of December 26, 2020, involving two vehicles described as: vehicle 1 (V1) – 10-wheeler wing van, color green, bearing plate no. JAC 1516, driven by Rodel Largo Gumba, 45 years old, male, and a resident of Purok 5, Campostila Poblacion, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay with PDL j03-96-019659, while vehicle 2 (V2) – Hyundai hatchback, color red, bearing plate no. MGJ 334, driven by Reynaldo Rebotaso Dalogdog with PDL j04-96-053107 with three passengers identified as Anna Marie Trapa Dalogdog, 39 years old, Raign Marie T. Dalogdog, 13 years old; and Raign Marian T. Dalogdog, 2 years, all residents of Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, V2 was travelling from Poblacion Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay, going to Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and upon reaching at the place of accident, the v2 accidentally bumped the V1 while parked at the right portion of the road.
As a result, the driver and passengers of V2 sustained injuries and brought to Zamboanga Provincial Hospital for medical treatment and later referred to Zamboanga City Hospital for further medical treatment.
Both vehicles incurred damages and brought to Ipil Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
