Road crash accident transpired along National Highway, Brgy. Lumbog, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay Province at about 1:30 PM of November 6, 2020 involving prime mover trailer 18 wheelers truck, loaded with 2 container vans, driven by Reynaldo Galbinez Vergara, 33 years old, a resident of Doyugan El Salvador, Misamis Oriental and a jeep, color white with no plate number driven by Victor Borcelo, 60 years old a resident of Poblacion, RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Initial investigation disclosed that the truck was traversing the National Highway of Brgy. Lumbog, Imelda when accidentally overshot at descending curved portion of road and fell off on the road hitting on the top of the incoming jeep.
The jeep driver was brought to Wilfredo Palma Memorial Hospital, Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay for immediate medical attention however was pronounce dead upon arrival by the attending physician.
The truck driver was brought to Imelda Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
