Be informed that on or about 4:40 PM of October 28, 2020, Intel driven report received that there is an illegal gambling activity at the house of a certain JOCELYN PANGLINAWAN MONTALLANA of Purok 4, Brgy. Molos, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte. PNP elements from Tampilisan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PSMS. John Randy O. Rulona together with with 2nd ZNPMFC led by PCpl. Vilmor V. Tilib, conducted joint operation against illegal gambling that resulted to the arrest of Alfred Gahilis Cowak, 58 y.o., married, farmer, a resident of Brgy. ZNAC, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte; Jocelyn Panglinawan Montallana, 52, y.o., married, housewife, a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Molos, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte and Bartolome Malhin Banzon Jr, 39 y.o., married, farmer, a resident of Brgy. Molos, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte who were responsible of the illegal gambling activity locally known as Tong-its. The confiscated items were one (1) set playing card and beat money amounting to ₱ 385.00.
During the said operation the markings and documentations of evidences was done in the area where they were arrested and it was witnessed by Hon. George Ami, Brgy Captain there and then they were informed their constitutional rights via MIRANDA DOCTRINE and immediately brought to Tampilisan Rural Health Unit, for medical examination.
Suspects were now under the custody of Tampilisan MPS while the case of illegal gambling was prepared to be filled against the suspects.
