Be informed that at about 11:30 AM of August 16, 2020, Operatives of Liloy Municipal Police Station (MPS) composed of PMAJ ROLDAN C. MOLATE-ACOP, PEMS Edmund C. Sala, PSSg. Carim B. Magallion and PSSg. Roland A. Dolotallas together with Intel operatives of 901st Mobile Company, RMFB9 lead by PCPT. HONORATO A. BALINTE conducted Simultaneous Intensified Police Operation against illegal cockfighting at Brgy. Mauswagon, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte that resulted to the successful arrest of five violators, namely: Tari H. Cuevas, 60 years old, male, married, a resident of Brgy Candelaria, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte; Mohammad Ugbamin Gumandol, 29 years old, male, single; Rudy Hambali Cuevas, years old, male, married; Avelino Montejo Patatag, 58 years old, male, married; and Arnold Ponteras Roaeque, 32 years old, single, all residents of Laliberta, Liloy Zamboanga Del Norte.
Confiscated/recovered from the possession of Tari Hambali Cuevas and Rudy Hambali Cuevas were Two fighting cocks with gaff and bet money amounting to ₱ 1,450.00.
Also, three roosters/fighting cocks without gaff were recovered at the crime scene by the operating troops.
The arrested violators were brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for medical examination and now under the custody of Liloy MPS for proper disposition.
