Be informed that at about 10:40 AM of August 10, 2020, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office (ZNPPO) led by PCAPT. JEFFERSON LAO BALINDAN joint with personnel from Siocon Municipal Police Station (MPS) and troops from Zamboanga del Norte 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (ZNPMFC) conducted buy-bust operation along the National Highway of Brgy. Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte that resulted to the arrest of Adrian Papud Humines alias “Biboy”, 19 years old (DOB-December 24, 2000, Grade II of Siocon National High School), male, jobless and a resident of Brgy. Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Confiscated items from the possession and recovered from ADRIAN PAPUD HUMINES alias “BIBOY” were the following: One piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be “SHABU” (Buy Bust Evidence); Eight pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be “SHABU” (Possession); One piece open cigarette pack “ASTRO” with four (4) pieces cigarette stick served as container of Eight pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be “SHABU”; Worth ₱500 pesos bill in different denominations; Two pieces Two hundred (₱200.00) peso bill bearing Serial No. AS113345 and AA840196 respectively and One piece One Hundred-peso bill (₱100.00) bearing Serial No.MQ785800) served as Buy Bust Money; One (1) piece blue disposable lighter; and one (1) piece five-peso coin.
A case for violation of RA 9165 was being readied for filling at Provincial Prosecutor’s Office against the suspect. Suspect was brought to Siocon District Hospital for medical and physical examination then conducted to Siocon MPS for documentation and will be brought to Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for drug testing together with the pieces of drug evidence for chemical examination and weighing while the non-drug evidence was in the custody of the seizing officer.
The suspect is now under the custody of Siocon MPS Detention Cell for formal filing of complaint for Violation of RA 9165 against him.
