Be informed that at about 12:35 PM of October 25, 2020, fourteen (14) Intel Operatives and Alert Team of Katipunan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PMAJ. VINCENT M. VIRTUDAZO – ACOP, together with Personnel from ZNPDEA led by Agent Fidel S. Calantoc conducted joint Drug Buy-bust Operation at Purok 1, Brgy. Uno, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the successful arrest of Mark John Camaligar, 23 years old (DOB: December 23, 1996, POB: Brgy. Uno, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte), male, single with live-in partner, High school Graduate, Jobless and a resident of said place, Top No. 3 Priority Target – Municipal Level.
Confiscated during the operation were two (2) pcs. heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; one (1) pc. Five Hundred Peso Bill (₱ 500.00) bearing Serial No. RU239199 as buy-bust money; Two Hundred Fifty Pesos (₱ 250.00) cash in different denominations as proceeds money; and one (1) unit black Zongshen 155 Motorcycle with no plate number attached. Drug items have an estimated weight of more or less one (1) gram and have an estimated street value of Six Thousand Eight Hundred pesos (₱ 6,800.00).
Arrested suspect who is Top No. 3 Priority Target – Municipal Level is now under the custody of Katipunan MPS pending filing of appropriate charges in court while the confiscated items will be turned-over to the custody of the Zamboanga del Norte-Provincial Crime Laboratory for examination and for court exhibit.(PLtCol.
