Be informed that at about 10:00 PM of August 16, 2020, Intelligence Operatives/City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of Dipolog City Police Station (CPS) led by PLT. KENT B. GUDMALIN-Intel Officer under the supervision of PLTCOL. GILZEN NIÑO R. MANESE-COP, in coordination with PDEA9, conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok 5, Highway, Brgy. Sta. Isabel, Dipolog City particularly in front of Labadlabad Store and successfully arrested one Jerick Mangubat Obina alias “Jeric”, DI Watch List/HVI Drug Personality, male, 31 years old (DOB: July 8, 1989), jobless, high school level and a resident of Poblacion, Baliangao, Misamis Occidental.
Confiscated during the operation were Nine heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, including buy bust evidence which was bought by the poseur buyer from the arrested suspect; and one piece Five Hundred peso bill bearing SN R2753998 served as buy bust money. Estimated street value of confiscated drugs amounting to ₱ 130,000.00.
The said suspect was brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for drug testing together with the pieces of drug evidence for chemical examination and weighing at the said office while the non-drug evidence were safe keep at Dipolog CPS for court exhibit.
Cases for violation of RA 9165 were being readied for filing in court against the suspect.
