React Miners Helped In Disinfecting City Streets From Covid-19

Officers and members of a radio communications group in Surigao City called Regional Emergency Assistance Communication Team (REACT) Miners helped the City Government in disinfecting the city streets yesterday afternoon to prevent the spread of Corona Virus.

REACT Miner Group Chief Hermogenes PIGEONITE Pegoro led the group in cooperation of the Bureau of Fire Protection with City Fire Marshall SInsp Julius Daryl Bulatao and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Threlcie Villaces. Also present during the operation were Roderick Sanchez (Assistant Mechanic), Raul “SOAPROCK” Sanchez
(OPERATION CHIEF), Jay “SAMSONITE” Jamora, Roland LITHARGE Legaspi, Hector “FEROXITE” Piramide, Hermogenes Nesay PIGEONITE Pegoro (GROUP CHIEF), Neil “AVENTURINE” Arlan, and City Government Representative Romnick Macabenlar.

That was the 1st phase of the Miners operation in the city, according to Roland LITHARGE Legaspi who released the information to the media. They disinfected the streets of Magallanes, Borromeo going to Pantalan Uno, City Boulevard, Nueva, Navarro then to the national highway and ended at the City Hall.

 

The 2nd phase will be in the afternoon of Monday, April 6, 2020. (RPN DXKS)
