Stabbing Incident
A stabbing incident transpired at Block 7, Lot 3, Rosario Homes, Dao, Pagadian City 9:40 p.m. of May 22, 2021. Victim was identified as Julius Caezar Esmino Macutay, 26 years old, male, single, student, and a resident of Purok Nagmahal, Rosario Homes, Dao, Pagadian City while suspect was identified as Allan Vinzon Esmino, 44 years old, male, married, former OFW/Seafarer, and a resident of Block 7, Lot 3, Rosario Homes, Dao, Pagadian City. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, victim was sleeping at their residence when the suspect, believed to be under the influence of liquor, was allegedly shouting in front of victim’s residence that prompted the victim to go outside, confronted and scolded the suspect that resulted to a heated argument. The suspect pulled out a military knife from his pocket and started to assault the victim. The victim told the suspect to put the knife down and suggested that they will just settle the argument in a fist fight but the suspect suddenly stabbed the victim hitting the left arm. The suspect tried to stab the victim again but a neighbor managed to restrain and calm down the suspect. After the incident, the suspect fled heading towards Dao, Pagadian City on board his motorcycle (Honda Beat) while the victim was brought to Pagadian City Medical Center for medical treatment. PNP Personnel of Pagadian City Police Station still conducting hot pursuit operation to locate and arrest the suspect.
5 Drug Suspects Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operations in Zamboanga City
₱ 62,660.00 worth of Shabu seized from 5 drug suspects in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by police station under Zamboanga City Police Office on May 22, 2021.
Jomar Villegas y Tabuno, 29 years old, male, single, parking boy, high school level, and a resident of Barangay Tugbungan, Zamboanga City was arrested by PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at R Villares Rd., Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City at 3:05 p.m. of May 22, 2021. Recovered during the operation were seven (7) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3, 400.00 weighing more or less 0.5 grams, one (1) sling bag (black) and one (1) piece of ₱ 200.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Adamson Ceniza y Sanson a.k.a. “Adamson”, 40 years old, male, married, businessman, college graduate, and a resident of Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City was arrested by PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Gov. Ramos Rd., Barangay Sta Maria, Zamboanga City at 6:30 p.m. of May 22, 2021. Recovered during the operation were four (4) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 47, 600.00 weighing 7 grams, one (1) leather pouch (black), one (1) piece of ₱ 500.00 bill and two (2) pieces of ₱ 1,000.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Reykhent Silvano y Bracamonte a.k.a. “Ken”, 28 years old, male, single, jobless, high school level, and Delos Santos y Burlat a.k.a. “Mark”, 29 years old, male, single, construction worker, elementary graduate were arrested by PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Prias Dr., Barangay Tumaga, Zamboanga City at 6:20 p.m. of May 22, 2021. Recovered during the operation were eleven (11) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 8, 160.00 weighing 1.2 grams, one (1) coin purse and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Benhar Masa Salip-Majid a.k.a. “Ungod”, 42 years old, male, married, laborer, elementary level, and a resident of Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City was arrested by PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Fishpond, Barangay Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City at 8:30 p.m. of May 22, 2021. Recovered during the operation were two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3, 500.00 weighing 0.51 grams and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. Said subject person is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Kalawit
PNP personnel of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 conducted drug buy-bust operation Barangay Gatas, Kalawit, Zamboanga del Norte at 10:40 p.m. of May 22, 2021. Ronald Makipoten Camanio, 35 years old, male, single, and a resident of Upper Sulitan, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay Province. Confiscated during the operation were four (4) sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated value of ₱ 34,000.00 weighing 5 grams, and marked money. Arrested suspect is now under the custody of Kalawit Municipal Police Station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Dipolog City
PNP personnel of Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit conducted buy-bust operation in Purok Farmer, Barangay Olingan, Dipolog City at 10:20 p.m. of May 22, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of August Binuya Sambo, 52 years old, male, married, jobless, and a resident of said place. Confiscated during the operation were one big sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated value of ₱ 68,000.00 weighing 10 grams, and two (2) pieces ₱ 500.00 genuine bill and five (5) pieces ₱ 1,000.00 boodle marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court.
Hacking Incident
A hacking incident transpired at Purok Bato, Longilog, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 7:30 p.m. of May 22, 2021 involving Arsenio Bulado Hinggo (father), 60 years old, married, farmer, and Alberto Duran Hinggo (son), 36 years old, farmer, residents of the said place. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, both the victim and the suspect were having a drinking session with their neighbors who held a wedding party. Due to some misunderstanding, a heated altercation ensued between the father and son. The victim went home and came back with a bolo and hacked his son hitting the abdomen, he continued hacking his son but the latter was able to parry the attack and grappled his father. In the process, the son successfully grabbed the bolo from his father, he then used the weapon against his father, hitting him several times at different parts of his body. Both were rushed to Dr. Sibud County Hospital for immediate treatment. Later on, the father was transferred to Dr. Devilla Hospital for further treatment due to more serious injury he sustained.
