Joint PNP personnel of Bayog Municipal Police Station, Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office – Intel Branch, 2nd Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, Leon Postigo Municipal Police Station (MPS) and 44th Infantry Battalion conducted law enforcement through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Titik, Leon B Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte at 2:40 p.m. of May 19, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of the Orlando Dalangon, a resident of Barangay Bobuan, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 14589-2K19 issued by Hon. Felix Rodriguez JR of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 18th, Pagadian City dated October 9, 2019 without bail bond recommended. During the operation, said accused resisted arrest and fired towards the operating units that prompted them to return fire that resulted to the death of the accused. Recovered from the area were three (3) homemade shotguns, one piece fired cartridge case of 12 gauge shotgun, one bolo with scabbard, nine (9) live ammunition of shotgun, one unit handheld radio with one extra battery, one air riffle (Dibumba), and two (2) empty shells of cal. 45 empty shell. Items recovered are temporarily under the custody of Leon Postigo MPS prior turn-over to Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination. The cadaver was properly turned-over to the family.

Joint elements of Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Gumamela, Barangay Taway, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. The operation resulted in the arrest of Mark John Culanculan Entana , 35 years old, married, college level, jobless and a resident of Purok Caimito, Barangay Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated items were: one (1) small sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.060 grams (buy bust) and four (4) pieces small sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.25 grams (possession) with a total estimated weight of 0.31 grams and value of ₱ 2,000.00; 1-unit black Samsung; and 1 piece ₱ 500.00 peso bill. Arrested suspect and confiscated items were brought to Ipil MPS for proper disposition.
Homicide Suspect Arrested in Titay
PNP personnel of 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company together with Regional Intelligence Division 9, 42nd Infantry Battalion and Titay Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted joint internal security operation at Purok Rubber, Barangay Pulidan, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 5:00 pm of may 19, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Albert Elumbareng, 38 years old, married, rubber tapper, and a resident of Purok Rubber, Barangay Pulidan, Titay Zamboanga Sibugay. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Frustrated Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. i-3924, issued by Hon. Ruebin Lo Maraon, Presiding Judge RTC, Branch 24, 9th Judicial Region, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay dated July 14, 2008 with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 24,000.00. Arrested person was properly turned over to Titay MPS for temporary detention and documentation.
Barangay Kagawad Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Talusan
Joint elements of Talusan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Zamboanga Sibugay 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Boalan, Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 11:10 p.m. of may 19, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of the Mursidi Sarriddin Hassan, 42 years old, married, male, high school graduate, Barangay Kagawad and a resident of the said place. Confiscated during the operation were: 3 pieces of heat-sealed transparent drinking cut straw of suspected Shabu, with an estimated weight of 0.241 grams and value of ₱ 1,447.928, 1-piece ₱ 500 peso bill as marked money, 1 piece orange lighter, and 1-piece unused aluminum foil. The arrested person and confiscated items are now under the custody of Talusan MPS for proper disposition. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Joemar Makitora Estrada, 35 years old, male, married, rubber tapper and resident of Purok Mahayag, Barangay Pulidan, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Frustrated Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. i-3924, issued by Hon. Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 3 conducted drug buy-bust operation in Sitio Malasugat, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City at 3:35 p.m. of May 19, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jairi Diego y Usang, 41 years old, male, married, laborer, resident of Aplaya, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were five (5) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 6,800.00 weighing 1 gram one (1) coin purse and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. Suspect is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Calle San Isidro Barangay Ayala , Zamboanga City at about 11:00 PM of May 19, 2021 that resulted to the arrest of Al-Hamier Yusop y Jumadil, 41 years old, a dispatcher, male, married, College Graduate, a native of Maimbung Sulu and presently residing at Barangay Guiwan Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were two (2) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 4,200.00 weighing 0.61 gram and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. Subject person is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Laborer Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Margosatubig
Joint operatives of Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit together with Margosatubig Municipal Police Station (MPS), Pitogo Municipal Police Station and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted joint drug buy-bust operation at Purok Poinsettia, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. The operation resulted in the arrest of Marjon Ornopia, 20 years old, single, high school level, laborer and a resident Sitio Luguimit, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) piece small size heat-sealed transparent sachet of suspected Shabu (buy-bust), three (3) pieces small size heat-sealed transparent sachets of suspected Shabu (possession) weighing 0.10 grams with an estimated market value of six hundred eighty pesos (₱ 680.00) and one (1) piece five hundred peso bill used as marked money. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court while the arrested suspect is presently detained at Margosatubig MPS.
