Top 6 Most Wanted Person of Manukan, Arrested

Joint personnel of Regional Intelligence Unit 6, Regional Intelligence 9 together with San Juaqin Municipal Police Station (MPS), Barbaza, Municipal Police Station and Manukan Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Lawigan, San Juaqin, Ilo-Ilo City at 3:30 PM of March 19, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Johnny Sumiwan Basaya, 34 years old, single, resident of Brgy. Lingatongan, Manukan Zamboanga del Norte, and temporarily residing at Brgy. Lawigan, San Joaquin, Iloilo. He was listed as wanted person of DILG, Zamboanga City with monetary reward of ₱ 135,000.00 based on DILG MC No. 2021-022 and also listed Top 6 most wanted person of Manukan MPS. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case No. 21842 issued by Judge Victoriano D. Lacaya Jr. of RTC9, Branch 9, Dipolog City dated August 14, 2017 without bail bond recommended. He is temporary under the custody of San Juaquin MPS Station, Ilo-ilo Province.

Shooting Incident

A shooting incident transpired at Purok Madasigon, Brgy. Pag-asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur at about 7:30 PM, March 19, 2021. victim Carmelynda Revilla Daub, 46 years old, female, vendor, married, resident of Purok Alang-alang, Brgy. Pinig Libano, Dumalinao Zamboanga del Sur was lying down lifeless inside the store owned by Jesusa Banes Alcaria. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, while the victim was sitting outside the store, Jonathan Pueblas Butac, male, of legal age, jobless, a resident of Brgy. Madasigon, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur suddenly appeared armed with cal .45 pistol and shot the victim hitting on the right side of her abdomen. The victim managed to run inside the store, but the suspect followed her and shot again hitting on the head which resulted to her instantaneous death. Recovered at the crime scene were the following: one (1) fired cartridge case of cal .45 and three (3) bullets of cal .45. PNP personnel of Dumalinao Municipal Police Station are now conducting hot pursuit operation and follow-up investigation against the suspect. Motive of the incident is believed to be a personal grudge.

Stabbing Incident

A stabbing incident transpired at City Boulevard, Santiago District, Pagadian City at 12:10 AM, March 20, 2021, wherein victim identified as Reynaldo Lopez Eyas, 22 years old, male, Filipino, single, jobless and a resident of Purok Sweetlove, Dumagoc, Pagadian City was stabbed by unidentified male person wearing black jacket, red ball cap, maroon t-shirt and black short pants arm with a bolo more or less 20 inches including handle. Investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim together with his companions were roaming around the vicinity of the city boulevard. Thus, when they are about to go home and while embarking onto their respective single motorcycle, the suspect suddenly appeared and stabbed the victim with the use of a bolo knife hitting the victim’s right lateral chest. Victim was brought immediately to Aisah Medical Hospital for medication by his companions on board on a single motorcycle but was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Liberty Tadlas, attending physician. After the incident, the suspect fled towards direction of Brgy. San Pedro, Pagadian City while the PNP Patrollers (Sector 1) assign at Kawit COMPAC of Pagadian City Police Station are now conducting Hot Pursuit Operation against the fleeing suspect. Motive of the incident is believed to be hatred. The cadaver of the victim is now laid at Gamalinda Funeral Home.

Men Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Pagadian City

Police operatives of Pagadian City Police Station (CPS) together with personnel from Margosatubig Municipal Police Station conducted illegal drugs buy-bust operation at Purok Rosas, Brgy. San Pedro, Pagadian City  at 11:30 AM, March 19, 2021 which resulted in the arrest of Jomaili Hjalal Jamil, 20 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Sigayan, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte and Mohaimen Maruhom Balao, 20 years old, male, single and a resident of Brgy. Ilian, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte. Confiscated during the operation were the following: One (1) piece green small plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu; Five (5) pieces green small plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu. Estimated weight of buy-bust evidence and recovered evidence from the possession 0.30 gram amounted to ₱ 2,040.00; Two (2) pieces Lighters (color Light green and Orange); Two (2) pieces Aluminum foil; One (1) coin pouch with color combination black, violet, yellow and green; One (1) piece One Thousand Peso Bill (₱ 1,000.00) as marked money bearing serial number EK905286; and one (1) unit Suzuki Raider motorcycle color red and black combination plate number 2738 KW. Arrested suspects are temporarily held in protective custody at Pagadian CPS while appropriate case for Violation of R.A. 9165 also known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” was being prepared.

Carpenter Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Gutalac

Police personnel of Gutalac Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted buy-bust operation at Brgy. Upper Gutalac, Gutalac, Zamboanga Del Norte at 3:00 PM of March 19, 2021 that resulted in the arrest Joone Agang Narag, 36years old, single, carpenter mason, college level, a resident of Brgy. Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) pc. small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (Buy bust item); four (4) pcs. small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu bought from the suspect; one piece ₱ 500.00 bill bearing serial number QH632040 served as buy bust money; and other drug paraphernalia. Estimated weight of shabu is 1.124 grams with estimated value of ₱ 3,000.00. The arrested suspect together with the confiscated items were brought to Gutalac MPS for proper disposition.

Stabbing Incident

A stabbing incident transpired at Purok 3, Brgy. San Roque, Rizal Zamboanga del Norte at about 5:30 PM of March 19, 2021. Suspect Eusebio Sagaray Buntag, 55 years old, married, jobless and resident of Purok 3, Brgy. San Roque, Rizal Zamboanga del Norte was arrested. Initial investigation disclosed that said suspect was allegedly under the influence of liquor and stabbed his brother identified as Edgar Sagaray Buntag, 48 years old, married, chainsaw operator and also a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. San Roque, Rizal Zamboanga del Norte, but the latter managed to evade the said attack and sustain minor injuries on his right palm. The victim was rushed to the Municipal Rural Health Unit for medical attention. Recovered from the crime scene was the knife used by the suspect. He is now detained at Rizal Municipal Police Station custodial facility for filing of complaint in court.

Top 3 Most Wanted Person of Siayan, Arrested

 Police personnel of Siayan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with personnel from Sirawai Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Sipawa, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte at 7:15 PM of March 19, 2021 that resulted in the arrest of Abner Banecer Alat, 17 years old, single, male, farmer, elementary level and a resident of Brgy. Moyo, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested for the crime of Robbery with Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. S-6118 issued by Presiding Judge Cherry Joy C. Concha-Ageas of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte dated August 28 2020, without bail bond recommended. He was brought to Sindangan District Hospital for Physical and Medical examination and now under the custody of Siayan MPS for proper disposition.
