Stabbing Incident
A stabbing incident transpired at Purok 7, Sitio Taloanan, Barangay Lugdungan, Dipolog City at 6:55 PM of March 17, 2021. The victim was identified as Salvo Aniñon Isaw, 35 years old, married and the suspect was identified as Elmer Sorronda Lecera, 34 years old, single, both are residents of Purok 7, Sitio Taloanan, Brgy Lugdungan, Dipolog City. The victim sustained stabbed wounds on his back and was then brought to Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center for treatment. During the follow-up operation, the suspect was arrested at the aforementioned place by the Duty Mobile Patrol of said station. He is now under the police custody of Dipolog City Police Station pending filing appropriate charges in court.

A stabbing incident transpired at Barangay Ilaya, Dapitan City at 10:15 PM of March 17, 2021. The suspect was identified as Ruben Gallepuso Endrina, 23 years old, male, single, and a resident of Sitio Calatong, Brgy Ilaya, Dapitan City and the victim was identified as Jerry Dizon Herodias, 50 years old, male, married, and residing at Sitio Calatong, Brgy Ilaya Dapitan City. Investigation revealed that at 9:40 PM of the same date, the suspect tried to stab the victim but said victim was able to evade the attack. The suspect was allegedly under the influence of liquor during the incident. Further investigation also revealed that the suspect had personal grudge. He is now under the custody of Dapitan City Police Station for filing of appropriate charges against him in court.
Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust operation in Naga
Zamboanga Sibugay Regional Drug Enforcement Unit together with Naga Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Division, Zamboanga Sibugay 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Intel Branch conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Lubay, Barangay Lapaz, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay at 1:30 PM of March 17, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Al-Kabir Abdulgani Aming, member of Hasim Calon Drug Group, male, 22 years old, single, college graduate and a resident of the said area. Confiscated during the operation were: one (1) piece of large sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated weight of 5 grams and value of ₱ 16,200.00, two (2) pieces ₱ 100.00 peso bill with serial numbers TH704684 and AE359122, and sixteen (16) pieces ₱ 1,000.00 peso bill with serial number TK938419. Markings and inventory of seized items was done in the presence of Lea Bullos, Barangay Kagawad of Lapaz, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay and Ms. Carina A Pacumba of Radyo Bisdak as media representative. He is now under the custody of the said station for filing of case, while the confiscated illegal drugs were turned over to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust operation in Boalan
Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok-2, Barangay Boalan, Zamboanga City at 6:30 PM of March 17, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rodolfo Catuday y Barles, 52 years old, male, married, college graduate, caretaker, and a resident of the said area. Recovered from his possession were four (4) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 5,000.00 weighing 0.73 gram and the two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Ayala
Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Brgy Ayala, Zamboanga City at about 7:00 PM of March 17, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Kelvin Macaso y Dela Cruz, 27 years old, male, single, resident of Barangay Limpapa, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Violation of RPC Art. 248 (Attempted Murder) with Criminal Case No. R-MND-21-00309 under branch 209 of National Capital Judicial Region, Mandaluyong, City signed by Hon. Monique A. Quisumbing-Ignacio Presiding Judge dated March 04, 2021 with recommended bail bond of ₱ 120,000.00. He is presently under the custody of the said station prior turn over to court concerned.

Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 conducted drug buy-bust operation on at Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at 8:30 PM of March 17, 2021that resulted to the arrest of Nur-In Alpha Y Ceriales, 48 years old, female, married, high school undergraduate, unemployed, and a resident of Phase 1, Barangay Kasanyangan Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were five (5) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 5,000.00 weighing 0.73 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Man Held in San Pablo for Illegal Fishing
Police personnel of San Pablo Municipal Police Station together with 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and Bantay Dagat of Local Government Unit of San Pablo conducted coastal patrol at the sea water of Barangay Sagasan, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur at 6:15 AM of March 17, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Alfred D. Edaño, 60 years old, married, fisherman, and a resident of Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Marcos Village, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur. He was brought to San Pablo Municipal Police Station while the motorized fishing boat was turned over to the office of Mr. Rene S. Paeste, Fishery Technician and Deputy Fish Warden of San Pablo Municipality for proper disposition.
