He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case Number 24514, issued by Acting Presiding Judge Jose Rene G. Dondoyano, of RTC, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte dated January 7, 2021, with no bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty. PNP elements of Zamboanga del Sur Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and PDEA- Zamboanga Del Sur in coordination with San Miguel Municipal Police Station, conducted illegal drug buy bust operation at Purok 2, Barangay Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur at 5:40 PM of March 5, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Junjevic Abagon Allere aka “Boyax”, (PDEA target listed High Value Individual and TOP 6 drug personality of San Miguel), 25 years old, male, single, student and a resident Purok 2, Barangay Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu, ten (10) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) piece cigarette pack (Marlboro) used to contain said items and one (1) piece Five Hundred Peso bill (₱ 500.00) bearing serial numbers Q105665 used as buy-bust money. Seized drug item has an estimated weight of 5 grams and a market value of ₱ 34,000.00. He is now temporarily detained at Zamboanga del Sur PDEA lock up cell, Capitol Complex, Pagadian City while appropriate case for violation of R.A. 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court.

Joint elements of 1st Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company (ZSPMFC) together with Tigbao Municipal Police Station in coordination with Sindangan Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Camp Maj Reginaldo C. Abelon, Pagadian City at 5:15 PM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jessie Banse Pularan, (a former rebel, who surrendered last November 22, 2020), 39 years of age, single, and a resident of Barangay Galas, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested City for the crime of Murder with Criminal Case No. S-5851 dated January 3, 2019 and Frustrated Murder with Criminal Case No. 4252 dated March 13, 2013 issued by Hon. Reymar L. Lacaya, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte. Subject person is still under the custody of 1st ZSPMFC for proper disposition.

Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station together with Regional Maritime Unit 9, members of Zamboanga City maritime Police Station and Members of 904th Maneuver Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Santol Drive, Barangay Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City at about 4:00 PM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Abdel-AzizJulkanain y Adriano a.k.a. “Abdel”, 35 years old, male, married, college graduate, undergraduate, resident of Paniran, Brgy Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were one (1) blue sling bag blue, seven (7) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 353,600.00 weighing 52 grams, two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 and two (2) bills of ₱ 1,000.00 as boodle money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Joint elements of Regional Highway Patrol Unit 9 Intel Section together with Zamboanga City Police Station 8 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 9, Pitogo, Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City at 4:30 PM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Arnold Francisco Y. Ebreo, 34 years old, male, single, unemployed, resident of Binuangan, Isabela City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Carnapping under Criminal Case No. 42682 issued by Hon. Vera P Vergara, Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 14, Zamboanga City dated January 16, 2020 with no bail bond recommended. He is presently under the custody of Regional Highway Patrol Unit 9 for proper disposition.
Suicide Incident
An alleged suicide incident transpired at Zone 1, Barangay Ayala, Zamboanga City at 4:30 AM of March 9, 2021 wherein Julius Aquino Serrano, 21 years old, resident of Calle San Francisco, Zone-1, Barangay Ayala, Zamboanga City committed Suicide by hanging himself with the use of shoe lace tied on his neck connected to a cut bamboo “purling” of their house. He was discovered by his mother at about 3:45 AM March 9, 2021 hanging lifeless. Investigation revealed that on the night of March 8, 2021, he had a drinking spree with his brother. After drinking, he went to sleep and victim accordingly went outside. According to his mother, she scolded her son for always drinking and a discussion ensued which was pacified later by his Jechrist Serrano, his brother. The cadaver was brought to La Merced Funeral Homes for post mortem examination and funeral services.
Road Crash Incident
A vehicular incident transpired along the National Highway of Barangay Manawan, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte at 9:40 AM of March 8, 2021 involving Rural Transit of Mindanao Bus with Bus Number 10801, bearing Plate Number NAX 1130 driven by Testy Baňez Espaňola, 52 years old, married, a resident of Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte, and holder of Professional Driver’s License Number JO1-96-021822 and New PNP-Hilux of Sirawai MPS with body number 629, bearing Plate Number A3 J564, driven by PSSg. Carding Batoto Unding, 41 years old, PNP member of Sirawai Municipal Police Station, married, a resident Pugos, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte, holder of Professional driver’s License Number N03-15-015778. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, both vehicles were travelling on the same direction from Jose Dalman going to Sindangan. Upon reaching the place of incident, the Rural Transit made a sudden stop purposely to pick-up a bus inspector, the PNP Toyota Marked Vehicle then accidentally hit the rear portion of the Rural Bus causing damages to both vehicles. Both drivers and vehicles involved were brought to Jose Dalman Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Robbery Incident
A robbery incident transpired at Purok 4, Barangay Ilisan, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay at 5:30 AM of March 8, 2021. Victim was identified as Romulo Balaro Rico, 34 year old, married, businessman, and a resident of Barangay Ilisan, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay while suspect was identified as Jesus Liguiz Dupio. Initial investigation disclosed that at 5:30 AM of March 8, 2021, the victim heard a sound coming from his sari-sari store which is adjacent to his house, he immediately went outside to check. Thereat, he saw the suspect coming outside the sari-sari store but the suspect noticed the presence of the owner/victim and ran towards unknown direction. He carted with him money amounting to two hundred sixty thousand (₱ 260,000.00) pesos. Investigation disclosed that the suspect forcibly entered the said sari-sari store by breaking the padlock and hinges of the back door using a four (4) inches common nail. Follow up operation is still on-going for the arrest of the suspect.
Another Robbery Incident
An alleged robbery incident transpired at Purok 6, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City at about 8:00 AM of March 8, 2021 wherein unidentified person/s removed six jalousie blades of the windows at the store owned by Liezel Banting y Antiller, 29 years old, female, married, resident of the said place. Suspect/s carted away coins worth ₱ 20,000.00 and products worth ₱ 5,000.00. Investigation disclosed that at about 5:00 AM of same date, a certain Joel Reyes went to their residence and informed the store owner that someone destroyed the jalousie windows and entered the said store. Zamboanga City Police Station 3 is conducting further investigation regarding the said incident.
Fire Incident
A fire incident transpired in a commercial area at MCLL Highway, Zone 6, Barangay Culianan, Zamboanga City at 9:37 AM of March 8, 2021 involving a Carinderia made of light materials owned by Merian Ejas; Rice Mill made of light materials, and Hardware made of semi concrete materials owned by Ronel Rebollos Cabreros. Said establishments were razed to the ground. Adjacent Water refilling station and cable wires of PLDT also incurred damages from the fire. Initial investigation disclosed that the fire allegedly started from a concrete stove in the kitchen of the Carinderia which eventually spread to the adjacent establishments. Responding BFP personnel were able to put out fire at about 10:00 AM of the same date and no casualty has been reported. Estimated cost of damage is ₱ 500,000.00 and BFP is still conducting further investigation regarding the said incident.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Liloy
Police personnel of Liloy Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Candelaria, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte at 11:30 AM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Hussain Alim Ribo aka “Osay”, 37 years old, male, married, farmer elementary graduate, a resident of the same place. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. L-002185 issued by Hon. Oscar D Tomarong, Presiding Judge, Brach 28, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte dated November 26, 2014 with bail recommended fixed at ₱ 120, 000.00. He is now under the police custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Dapitan City
PNP personnel of Oroquieta City Police Station together with Dapitan City Police Station conducted joint Intel driven operation against wanted person in P-Mauswagon, Barangay Cawa-Cawa, Dapitan City at about 8:00 PM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Arman Maisog y Balloso, 26 years old, single, fish dealer and a resident of P-Mauswagon, Barangay Cawa-Cawa Dapitan City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder docketed under Criminal Case number 2242 issued by Acting Presiding Judge, Hon Silvestre D. Orejana Jr. of RTC Br 13, Oroquieta City, dated June 4, 2015 with bail bond recommended amounting to One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (₱ 120,000.00). He is now being transported to Oroquieta City.
Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ipil
Elements of Ipil Municipal Police Station conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Airways, Barangay Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 10:15 PM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Roy Dominic Camba, 20 years old, unemployed, male, high school graduate, single, and a resident of Purok Airways, Barangay Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated during the operation were: four (4) sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.224 grams and value of ₱ 2,000.00, one (1) unit Gray/Black Honda Wave 110, with key ignition, one (1) unit black/blue Cherry mobile cellular phone, one (1) piece yellow lighter and one (1) piece ₱ 500.00 bill as marked money with serial number BM730718. Markings and inventory was done in the presence of Hon. Noel M. Ybañez, barangay kagawad of Barangay Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and Mr. Rizaldy M. Bernardo as media representative. He is now under the custody of the said police station for proper disposition, while the confiscated illegal drugs were turned over to the Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Murphy Sahi y Omar, 49 years old, male, married, resident of Barangay Tigtabon, Zamboanga City. Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Dr. Varela St., Barangay Zone 1, Zamboanga City at 1:30 PM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Ced Aztshar Munir y Sintaan, 32 years old, male, single, resident of Pagkasilasa drive, Brgy Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Murder under Criminal Case No. 40156 issued by Presiding Judge, Gregorio V. Dela Peña, III, 9th Judicial Region, Br. 12, Zamboanga City dated December 4, 2018 with no bail bond recommended. Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 3 conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Sitio Kanya Siguinan, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City at 3:40 PM of March 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Aldrin Timpangco y Atilano, 39 years old, male, married, Habal-habal Driver, College undergraduate, and a resident of the said place. Recovered from his possession were six (6) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 2,000.00 weighing 0.29 gram, one (1) coin purse and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
