PNP personnel of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Zamboanga Sibugay PDEA, Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office-Intel Branch, Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok B, Barangay Poblacion, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 5:15 PM of June 24, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rafidz Ahid Ismael, male, 27 years old, married, high school graduate, businessman and a resident of Barangay Canacan, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay. Recovered from his possession were: one (1) piece large heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 5 grams and an estimated value of â± 34,000.00, 16 pieces of â± 1, 000.00 bills (boodle money) topped with one genuine â± 1, 000.00 bill used as buy bust money. Arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Kabasalan MPS for proper disposition. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.
Top 7 Most Wanted Person of Dinas, Arrested
PNP personnel of Dinas Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 1st and 2nd Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company, San Miguel Municipal Police Station, and Pagadian City Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 3, Barangay Beray, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur at 9:30 PM of June 24, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Willy Adaza Dacalso a.k.a. Tawi, 39 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Beray, Dinas, Zamboanga del sur. He was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant for the crime of Rape in relation to R.A. 7610 docketed under criminal case nos. 9594-2K9 and 9595-2K9 dated August 27, 2009 issued by Hon. Benjamin R Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 22, Pagadian City with no bail bond. He is now temporarily detained at Dinas MPS while waiting for commitment order from the court.

PNP personnel of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Larena Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted joint law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Cang Apa, Larena, Siquijor at 4:30 PM of June 24, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jope Patoy Edayan, 46 years old, male, married, Filipino and a resident of Barangay Cangclaran, Lazi, Siquijor. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under criminal case no. I-7310, dated December 10, 2019, issued by Hon. Anthony D. T. Isaw, Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 24, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, with recommended bail of â± 200,000.00. He was brought to Larena MPS for documentation and was subsequently brought by the operating team to Kabasalan MPS for proper disposition.
Barangay Chairman of Tiguma Shot to Death in Pagadian City
A shooting incident transpired at National Highway, in front of Gampong Store, Zone 2, Barangay Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur at 11:38 AM of June 24, 2021. Victim was identified as Hon. Ali Catong Gampong, 54 years old, male, married, Barangay Chairman of Tiguma, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur together and a certain Allan Cabayaran, while suspect/s is/are unidentified. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was onboard his gray Toyota Vios, with registration plate KDV709, heading to his residence. Upon arrival at the place of incident, they were waylaid by a black Nissan Navara (Calibre) vehicle, without registration plate number and thereat, the suspect (gunman) seated at the back portion of the vehicle, fired towards the victim three times. The victim sustained one gunshot wound on his occipital area, one gunshot wound on his left Deltoid Lateral area and one gunshot wound on his left Deltoid Occipital area. The victim was brought to Aisah Hospital, San Pedro, Pagadian City for immediate medical treatment, however, he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician Dr. Libert Tadlas, M.D. while Allan Cabayaran was unharmed. The suspect/s immediately fled towards Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City. There were no recovered fired cartridge casings in the area and CCTV footage was immediately reviewed for the identification of the suspects. PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station is conducting dragnet operation to identify, locate and arrest the fleeing suspect/s.
Hacking Incident
A hacking incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Nopulan, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur At about 8:55 PM of June 24, 2021. Victim was identified as Erik Luma Pang-an, male, married, 30 years old, farmer, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Nopulan, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur while suspect was identified as Rico Bundaog Barrientos, male, 42 years old, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Nopulan, Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, that victim and suspect along with other friends were having a drinking session at the house of victim. While on the course of their drinking session, the suspect suddenly hacked the victim hitting his head and was brought to Mahayag Municipal Hospital for treatment. The suspect fled immediately after the incident, while personnel of Josefina Municipal Police Station conducted thorough investigation and follow up operation to locate and arrest the suspect.

A hacking incident transpired at Ayer Village, Barangay Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City at about 3:00 PM of June 24, 2021. Victim was identified as Jomar Aripin Jalali, 26 years old, male, single, of Mango Drive, Barangay Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City while suspects were identified as William Halil and Amilhussin, male, both of legal ages, and residents of Ayer Village, Barangay Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the fighting cock (Uwakan) of the victim was allegedly missing and some of the bystanders told him that they saw William Halil and Amilhussin took the fighting cock. That said victim had a confrontation with William Halil but the latter immediately hacked the victim with a âBoloâ. Victim sustained injuries on the different parts of his body and was rushed to Zamboanga City Medical Center for treatment. While suspects immediately fled towards the direction of Barangay Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City. PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 is still conducting hot pursuit operation for the arrest of the suspects.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident transpired at Zone 4, Lumbang, Barangay Dulian, Zamboanga City at 9:45 PM of June 24, 2021. Victims were identified as Maria Corazon Antonio y Bernardo, 34 years old, female, married and her husband Joseph Antonio y Delos Santos, 37 years old, male, married of Zone 4, Lumbang, Barangay Dulian, Zamboanga City while suspect was identified as Rozalino Garig y Epat, retired Army, 67 years old, resident Purok 2, Barangay Malagutay, Zamboanga City. Initial investigation revealed that prior to the incident, suspect and victims had a heated argument regarding the victimsâ domesticated animal. Allegedly, it destroyed the crops planted by the suspect. While both victims were at the residence of their cousin celebrating the feast of San Juan, suspect suddenly appeared and shot the victims and fled onboard his motorcycle towards Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City. Maria Corazon sustained gunshot wound at her right lower breast while Joseph Antonio sustained gunshot wounds on his stomach. Both were rushed to West Metro Medical Center and were transferred to Zamboanga City Medical Center in stable condition. Recovered at the crime scene were four (4) empty shells, two (2) slugs and two (2) live ammunitions of caliber .45. at 10:45 PM of June 24, 2021, suspect voluntarily surrendered to Zamboanga City Police Station 7. He is presently under the custody of said station for further investigation and for filing of appropriate charges in court.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Margosatubig
PNP personnel of Margosatubig Municipal Police Station (MPS) (Lead unit) together with Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit San Pablo Municipal Police Station; Dumalinao Municipal Police Station; and 2nd Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted illegal drug buy-bust operation at Lopezaina Street, Poblacion Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur at 1:20 PM of June 24, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Alvin Castro Ting , 22 years old, self-employed, college level, and a resident of Purok Orchid, Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur. Recovered during the operation were one piece small size heat-sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu (buy-bust); five pieces small size heat-sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu (possession) weighing 0.15 grams with an estimated market value of Ⱡ1,020.00; one unit Keypad Cellular phone; and one piece Ⱡ1,000.00 bill as buy-bust money. He is now temporarily detained at Margosatubig MPS.
Habal-habal Driver Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in San Jose
PNP personnel of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 (RDEU9) conducted drug buy-bust operation at Ruste Extension, San Jose, Zamboanga City at 9:05 AM of June 24, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Abdurasa Sarahan y Abduhasan, 41 years old, male, married, Habal-habal driver, elementary level and a resident of Alas-as, Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu, Â one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu (possession) with total weight of 55 grams with estimated street value of â± 374,000.00, two (2) pieces genuine â± 500.00 bill and nine (9) pieces of â± 1,000.00 as buy bust money, one (1) Camelback sling bag and one (1) unit black Honda XRM 125 with registered plate no. 0901-402614 with. A case for Violation of R.A. 9165 was being readied for filling in court against the suspect.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Upper Calarian
Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 (lead unit) together with Philippine Coast Guard Intelligence Unit-Zamboanga, Port Police, conducted drug buy-bust operation at Corcuerra St., Barangay Zone IV, Zamboanga City at 5:30 PM of June 24, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Garreth Tactac Remegia a.k.a. âTotohâ, 28 years old, male, married, college level, unemployed and a resident of Flamingo, Barangay Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were one (1) coin purse, four (4) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of â± 68,000.00 weighing 10 grams and one (1) bill of â± 500.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
2 Men Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Talon-Talon
Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City at 2:30 AM of June 25, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Merham Bakil y Akbar aka âMerâ, 43 years old, male, single, jobless, high school graduate; and Chester Markilan y Adion aka âChoi, 31 years old, male, single, jobless, high school graduate, both are resident of Barangay Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were four (4) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of P30,000.00 weighing 4.8 grams and one (1) bill of P500.00 as marked money. They are now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
