Cadaver Found in a Boarding House in Pagadian City
Police personnel of Pagadian City Police Station responded to Pulmones Boarding House, Purok Makugihon 1, Santiago District, Pagadian City at about 9:00 AM of February 8, 2021 wherein a dead body was found. Initial investigation disclosed that the cadaver was identified as Jimboy Alome Galamon, 25 years old, male, single, security guard and a resident of Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay temporary residing at the said boarding house. He was discovered lifeless by his cousin Jessie Alome Jamena when the latter arrived from his duty as they were residing at the same room. The responding personnel called the assistance of City Health Officer for the conduct of post-mortem examination and initially found out that the cause of death is natural for there were no bruises or wounds found on the cadaver.
SK Chairman Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Titay
Titay Municipal Police Station together with Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Drug Enforcement Unit conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Purok Anahaw, Barangay Culasian, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay at 9:40 PM of February 8, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Glenn Gaco Celeste Jr., 21 years old, single, SK chairman, college student and a resident of the said place. Recovered and confiscated items were: five (5) pieces small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.367 grams and value of two thousand five hundred pesos (₱ 2, 500.00), one (1) pieces five hundred (₱ 500.00) peso bill with serial number sb792111 (buy-bust money), one (1) box Fuego match, one (1) pouch color brown and SK chairman ID. He is now under the custody of the said police station for proper disposition and documentation while the confiscated drug evidence was brought to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for chemical examination.
Man Arrested for Cyber-Crime in Zamboanga City
Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Gov. Lim Ave., Zone I, Zamboanga City at 10:40 AM of February 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Wilfred Elava Santos Delos Reyes, 36 years old, male, married, and a resident of Barangay Putik, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Gregorio V. Dela Peña III, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 12, Zamboanga City dated January 25, 2021 docketed under Case Numbers 47014 and 470510 for Violation of RA 10175 (Cyber Crime Prevention Act of 2012) with bail bond recommended of forty eight thousand pesos (₱ 48,000.00). He is presently under the custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
6 Drug Suspects Arrested in Separate Buy-Bust Operation in Zamboanga City
6 drug personalities were arrested in separate buy-bust operation conducted by different police units of Zamboanga City Police Office on February 8, 2021.
Ashri Sahibuddin y Taha, 21 years old, male, single, unemployed, high school level was arrested by Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 in a buy bust operation conducted at Asinan, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at 9:50 PM of February 6, 2021. A case for Violation of RA 9165 under Section 5 and 11 (Article II of Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), against the respondent was forwarded to the office of the City Prosecutor, Hall of Justice, Sta. Barbara, this city docketed under National Prosecution Service Docket No. IX-06-INQ-21B00144 duly administered by duty Assoc. City Prosecutor Sharon May P. Sales-Belisario. Further, the confiscated suspected substance gave positive result for the presence of methamphetamine hydrochloride (Shabu) with chemistry report number D-0105-2021 with total net weight 9.579 grams.
Muztafa Basir Y Aming, 24 years old, male, married, unemployed, college graduate was arrested by police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 9 in a buy bust operation conducted at Atilano Extension, Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City at about 1:00 AM of February 7, 2021. A case for Violation of RA 9165 under Section 5 and 11 (Article II of Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), against the respondent was referred before the office of the City Prosecutor, Hall of Justice, Sta. Barbara, this city docketed under National Prosecution Service Docket No. IX-06-INQ-21B00145 duly administered by duty Assoc. City Prosecutor Sharon May P. Sales-Belisario. Further, the confiscated suspected substance gave positive result for the presence of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (Shabu) with chemistry report number D-0107-2021 with total net weight 2. 394 grams.
Elizalde Bejerano Y Concepcion, 48 years old, male, married, construction worker, elementary level was arrested by police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 8 in an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted at Faustino Dr., Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City at about 8:00 PM of February 8, 2021. Confiscated from his possession were Three (3) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 5, 000.00 weighing more or less 0.73 grams and One (1) pc of ₱ 500.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory office.
Jay Ryan Larracochea Fernandez, 32 years old, male, single, unemployed, high school graduate was arrested by police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 in an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted at Buenagatas, Barangay Boalan, Zamboanga City at  5:10 PM of February 6, 2021. On February 8, 2021, a case for Violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) was filed before the City Prosecutor’s Office against the respondent under NPS Docket No. IX-06-INQ-21B-00140 duly subscribed by Associate City Prosecutor Atty. Sharon May P. Sales-Belisario. Moreover, laboratory examination of suspected shabu yielded positive result in the presence of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride with a total weight of 0.116 grams.
Titing Sadjali Y Hasan, 51 years old, male, married, parking boy, high school undergraduate and a resident of Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City and Nurdiana Abdulbakhadz Y Gadjali, 23 years old, female, single, call center agent, college undergraduate, and a resident of San Isidro, Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City were arrested by police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted at Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City at 1:10 AM of February 9, 2021. Confiscated from their possession were Five (5) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 150, 000.00 weighing more or less 22 grams, one (1) piece small transparent plastic sachet believed to be marijuana, one (1) piece large transparent plastic sachet believed to be marijuana, one (1) coin purse, one (1) bag pack (red) and one (1) piece of ₱ 500.00 bill as marked money. They are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office.
Habal-Habal Driver Arrested for Robbery in Leon B. Postigo
Police personnel of Leon B Postigo Municipal Police Station together with personnel from Labason Municipal Police Station conducted joint Intel driven operation through service of warrant at Barangay Poblacion, Leon B Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte at  6:30 PM of February 8, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Jimmy Cabalida Alesna, 37 years old, male, married, Habal-habal Driver and a resident of the said place for the crime of Robbery docketed under criminal case Number L-004080 issued by Acting Presiding Judge Anthony D Isaw of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte dated January 15th 2021 with bail bond recommended fixed at P48,000.00. He is now under Police custody at the said police station for proper disposition.
Man Arrested in a Buy-Bust Operation in Dipolog
Intelligence operatives/City Drug Enforcement Team of Dipolog City Police Station conducted anti- illegal drugs operation through buy bust at Brgy. Sta. Filomena, Dipolog City at about 7:30 PM February 8, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Dadifred S. Lastimado, male, 26 years old, single, unemployed and a resident of Brgy. Galas, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte. Confiscated from his possession were six (6) big size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana with estimated 30 grams and estimated value of ₱ 3,600.00; ₱ 500.00 bill bearing serial numbers DF572500 served as buy bust money and ₱ 50.00 as proceeds money. He is now in the custody of Dipolog City Police Station while documents are being prepared for violation of RA 9165.
Farmer Arrested in a Buy-Bust Operation in Sirawai
Police personnel of Sirawai Municipal Police Station together with 905th Maneuver Company conducted joint anti-illegal drug operation in coordination with Regional Intelligence Division 9 and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency at Barangay Doña Cecilia, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 10:00 PM of February 8, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Escobar M. Lakim, 38 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of Barangay Pula Bato, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norte. Confiscated from the possession of the suspect were Six (6) pieces small sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu with estimated value amounting to ₱ 5,500.00 and estimated weight of 0.808 grams; and one (1) piece ₱ 500.00 bill with SN: CK297821 as marked money.
