Father and Son, Suspects in a Hacking Incident in Titay
A hacking incident transpired at Purok Matanog, Brgy. Dalangin, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay, at 11:20 AM of February 21, 2021, wherein victim Eduardo Astera Silva, 52 years old, Married, farmer and a resident of Purok Anunang, Brgy. Dalangin, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay was hacked by suspects Joven Caluwa Bordamonte, 34 years old, married, farmer and Placido Salapar Bordamonte, father of Joven, 58 years old, married, farmer, both residents of Sitio Matigdao, Brgy. Dalangin, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay. Initial investigation disclosed that victim and the suspects had a previous altercation pertaining to the damaged rice seed bed caused by the victim’s cow. That while the victim was standing alongside the road of said place, the suspects on board a single motorcycle stopped over and confronted the victim. A brawl ensued that prompted one of the suspect to hack the victim hitting his left arm. He was rushed to Dr. Sibud County Hospital for treatment while the suspects were arrested and were brought to Titay Municipal Police station for proper disposition.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident Transpired at Purok 1, Brgy. Bliss, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay at 7:30 PM of February 21, 2021 wherein the victim was identified as Ruben Sollano Palong-Palong, male, legal age, married, businessman, and a resident of the said place while the suspect was identified as Bernard Ronnie Niala, male, legal age, self-employed, and a resident of Purok 29, Poblacion, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay. Initial Investigation disclosed that the suspect and the victim had a heated argument that prompted the suspect to draw his pistol and shot the victim several times, after the incident, the suspect boarded his motorcycle and fled to unknown direction while the victim was immediately brought to Saint John Hospital for treatment. Recovered at the crime scene were five (5) pieces of fired empty shells. Personnel of Buug Municipal Police Station immediately conducted hot pursuit operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect. He was brought to the said police station for proper disposition.
₱300,000.00 Worth of Smuggled Cigarettes, Seized in Mercedes
 Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted mobile patrol at Sitio Balinsungay, Brgy. Mercedes, Zamboanga City at 6:40 PM of February 21, 2021, upon passing by the New Cemetery, they intercepted a Toyota Utility Van, with temporary plate number 092808 owned and registered under the name of Alih Pamentong and driven by Mushin Pajiran Mahlil, 22 years old, married, resident of Brgy. Talon-talon, Zamboanga City. The vehicle was loaded with twenty (20) cases of smuggled cigarettes namely: five (5) cases of Bravo, seven (7) cases of Canon and eight (8) cases of Fort with the total amount of Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱ 300,000,00). Vehicle and confiscated items are presently at said station prior turn-over to the Bureau of Customs for proper disposition.

Police personnel of 1st Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company, Dumingag Municipal Police Station (MPS), Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Intel Branch and personnel of Malungon Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 1, Brgy. Bucayan, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur at 2:30 PM of February 21, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Alcris Mapa Tabulong, 29 years old, married, laborer and resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Bucayan, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape (4 Counts) with criminal case no. 01090-19, 01089-19, 01088-19 and 01087-19 dated January 28, 2019 issued by Hon. Catherine A. Velasco-Supeda, Presiding Judge, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 50 Alabel, Sarangani Province with no bail bond recommended. Subject person is now temporarily detained at Dumingag MPS for proper disposition.
Top 3 Drug Suspect in Ipil, Arrested
Police personnel of Ipil Municipal Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Bayanihan, Brgy. Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 4:30 PM of February 21, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Wally Quesada Sampang, male, 35 years old, single, unemployed , college undergraduate, and a resident of Top Mars Subdivision, Barangay Veterans, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated during the operation were: five (5) pieces small sachets containing suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.7 grams and value of ₱ 4,700.00 , one (1) piece five hundred (₱ 500.00) peso bill with serial number ec857319 used as marked money and one (1) unit black/gray Suzuki raider 110 with ignition key. Markings and inventory was done in the presence of Hon. Nicasius R. Torres, Barangay Chairman of Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and Mr. Rizaldy M. Bernardo as media representative. He is now under the custody of the said police station, while the confiscated illegal drugs were turned-over to the Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.

₱27,000.00 Worth of Shabu Yield from a Fisherman in Patalon
Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 (ZCPS10) conducted law enforcement operation through service of search warrant at Brgy. Patalon, Zamboanga City at 5:20 AM of February 21, 2021. The operation then resulted in the arrest of Ramil Sarao Y. Igoy, 51 years old, fisherman, high school level, resident of Sitio Malandi, Brgy. Patalon, Zamboanga City. The search warrant was issued by Hon. Peter V. Eisma, Presiding Judge, RTC 9, Branch 15, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were one (1) knap sack bag and thirteen (13) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 27,000.00 weighing 3.97 grams. He is presently under the custody of ZCPS10 for proper disposition. Confiscated items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Homicide Suspect arrested in Payao
Police personnel of Payao Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with elements of 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 2, Brgy. San Vicente, Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay at 7:30 AM of February 21, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Anthony A. Sanguan, 31 years old, male, married, and a resident of the said place.
The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. 4334-P dated February 17, 2021 issued By Hon. Ryan Benito Deleña, Presiding Judge, 5th Municipal Circuit Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay with recommended bailbond Of ₱ 12,000.00. He is now under the custody of payao MPS for proper disposition.
Homicide Suspect arrested in Malangas
Police personnel of Malangas Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok Mauswagon, Brgy. Ladicha, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay at 9:05 AM of February 21, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Oliver Villadares Ancuna , 37 years old, single, farmer, and a resident of the said place. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for crime of Attempted Homicide with Criminal Case No. 4328-d dated December 15, 2020, issued by Hon. Ryan Benito Deleña, Presiding Judge, 5th MCTC, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay with recommended bail bond of ₱ 36,000.00. He is now under the custody the said police station for proper disposition.
Laborer arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation
Police personnel of RT Lim Municipal Police Station conducted buy-bust operation at Purok San Francisco, Barangay Katipunan, RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay at 9:30 PM of February 21, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Erimar Diosma Parcon 31 years old, single, male, laborer, and a resident of Purok Acacia, Brgy. Kulambugan, RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated during the operation were: six (6) pieces cut drinking straw containing suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.9 grams and value of ₱ 6,120.00; four (4) pieces folded aluminum foil; one (1) piece blue pouch; one (1) piece mint green lighter and five hundred (₱ 500.00) peso bill as buy-bust money. The suspect and confiscated item/s was brought to the said police station for proper disposition. A case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.
