PNP Agusan Del Norte Arrested Region’s Top 2 Most Wanted

Tubay Police together with the operatives from Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office Intelligence and members of 2nd Agusan del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company arrested the top 2 most wanted of Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 during a successful manhunt Charlie operation conducted in Tubay, Agusan del Norte yesterday, March 6.

POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M. CARAMAT, JR, PRO13 Director identified the arrested person as James Lord M. Bangcot, 32 years old, a resident of Brgy. La Fraternidad, Tubay, Agusan del Norte.

Bangcot is one of the motor-riding suspects in a shooting incident that transpired last September 25, 2016, in Purok-3, Brgy. Doña Rosario, Tubay killing Dante C. Diayon.

The operation launched under Case Operational Plan (COPLAN) “TAGAUSIG” was based on the strength of Warrant of Arrest issued by Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 34, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte dated November 6, 2017, for murder with Criminal Case No. CR-17-87.

The court recommends no bail for the case.

“I commend the operating troops for this successful police operation. Criminals must be brought behind bars and face the consequences of the crimes they have committed. Letting these criminals roam freely in our region is like taking away the right of every peace-loving Caraganons to live in peace,” PBGEN. CARAMAT, JR said.
