In compliance to Memorandum Order No. 21-112 Series of 2021 which is the Fourth Supplement to the Executive Order (EO) No. 21-010 Series of 2021 issued by the Provincial Governor of Surigao del Norte dated 22 May 2021, Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte headed by the Station Commander CDR ELAINE R PANGILINAN PCG in close coordination with the Philippine Ports Authority (PMO-Surigao) immediately enforced the said EO by conducting a thorough inspection of requirements to all passengers coming from the Province of Dinagat Island last Monday, 24 May 2021.
PCG and PPA ensures that all passengers have the necessary requirements particularly the presentation of Swab/Saliva RT-PCR or Antigen Negative Test Results prior disembarkation of the vessel in order to prevent the spread of the new COVID-19 variant in the Province of Surigao del Norte.
Moreover, PCG deployed personnel to conduct coastal patrols along the coastlines of Surigao City in order to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the aforementioned EO.
